I've been a bad CFF member. Been a busy beaver -- one daughter home from overseas, one recently engaged... just been playing hard and fishing hard. For Tennfisher, I am sorry to say that the crappie bite has turned back on good since you and I went. We've been whackin' 'em on the trolling bite. My last trip out they'd moved considerably shallower. We found most our fish in six feet or less.
However my catfish bite is firing up as well and I've been mixing things up. One day I had Fred Moudy and son Dylan out to catch a limit of crappie in the morning, and we finished up fast enough to head below the dam and hammer some big cats on light tackle. I LOVE April! emoBigsmile Yesterday's trip with Samuel (and his Mom & friend) was a Birthday Gift. He said he liked it a LOT more than a skating party.
A picture is worth a thousand words, so here's a few thousand. Oh yea... life is good and gettin' better every day!
