I've done some research and looked at a few 9 mm's for concealed carry and decided on the Ruger SR9c.

Does anyone own a Ruger SR9c or have knowledge of them? All reviews I've read have been excellent.

I'm purchasing it with my tax return money and also would like to know the best / cheapest place to buy one. I've checked a few places on line and they go for less than $400.

PLEASE RESPOND BY PM ONLY.
I'm rarely on here anymore due to cold weather and lack of fishing till it warms up again.

Thanks for any and all help.

I had the Ruger SRC9 (among many other smith and wessons, glocks, sprigfields, H&K's etc) If you are looking mainly at price point for a range gun they are pretty decent. However, I did have several FTF and Stovepipes using assorted ammo PMC, WWB and Remington UMC. I also wasn't a huge fan of the trigger on the SR9c. While I really liked the slim profile when I carry a concealed weapon I need to make sure it goes bang everytime I pull the trigger. Maybe I had a lemon but I just 100% could rely on the gun and as stated before I need to make sure it is gonna work if god forbid I ever have to do work on someone. I would spend the extra money and get an M&P or a Glock, whichever feels most comfortable to you. I have run about 1500 rounds through my M&P 40c and have had 0 stoppages. To be honest the size difference between the M&P, Glock and SR9c is negligable.
