Ruger MK II for coon hunting?

Do most people use a rifle or would this set-up work well? Off a rest, I can hit coke cans at 100 yrds.

you will be fine with that, it will also be easier carrying through the woods than a rifle

i love my ruger 10/22 with scope but i dont shoot to kill i like to whatch the fight.its what ever you prefer to hunt with

I don't know what cal. it is,but I think you have to use a rim fire after dark. I don't think center fire rifles are allowed. Check TWRA rules to be sure. I was wrong ONCE before. emoScratch

Picture not showing, assuming it's a pistol?? A buddy of mine used a Browning Buck Mark with a red dot scope, light in scope not laser, and loved it. He could walk em down on the dogs. Get a cross chest holster and would be a dream to carry.
