1. You must fish 4 tournaments to qualify for the Classic

2. The "Free Pass" rule is waived after the 5th tournament.

(The free pass rule allows you to fish the CFF Tournament Trail 2 times without the required 150 post rule.

This is for our newbieswho would like to come out and fish. You won't be able to use them after the5th tournament).

3. Tournaments will be held from safe light till 2:00 p.m.

4. Out of concern for our resources, all tournaments, except for the Classic, will have a 3 fish limit. The Classic willhave a 5 fish limit.

5. Because we want to promote this trail as a way to introduce people to the world of tournament fishing and to provide a means to meet others on the forum, the payoutschedule and the entry feewill remain the same.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or any other tournament committee member.

Probably just a blast off Ron. It will depend on the number of boats for the event. We did it by numbers at Guntersville last year, but the rest we just did a single blast off. It will also depend on the weather conditions for the given event.

just a thought but you guys should add a bonus buck to the entry just for the ones that wont to enter bb and have it pay like three plases or something like if you got second in the tx and entered the bb and the first place guy dident enter bb you would win first in the bb ect ect i would make the bb like 30.00 as well for a total of 60.00 entry only for the ones in the bb

There is a big fish pot already figured in Mark. Not sure if that is the kind of thing you are talking about. We want this trail to be simple, fun, and inexpensive. Your post confused me a little, so feel free to elaborate. But I think the majority enjoys the trail and the way it is set up. We dont want to jump up to $60 entry fees

How are points tabulated, last year we used "weight" as the point total? If the ASTEC schedule doesn't geehaw with the CBA schedule, I should be able to make most of these events and look forward to cutting up with you all for another Summer!

im sorry for the confusion your entry of 30 would be the same as it is now as well as payout nothing would change at all . now bonus bucks would be a seperate OPTIONAL entery fee anyone in the tx can win the general tx but only people in bonus bucks can win bonus bucks basicly a side pot say i won the tx i would get 1st prize general tx but i was not i bonus bucks say you came in 4th but you were in on bonus bucks and have the most weight of anyone that got in on bonus bucks you would get 4th place general tx prize and 1st bonus bucks hope this helps im not tring to intrude just thought it might draw a few guys that wont to lose more cash the fishers of man trail do this its very intersting

I noticed they said tournament hours are safe light to 2 pm, does that mean no night tournaments this year?

wish the first few would be considered til 3 safelight might not be til 730 2 is fine in summer when it is brutal hot

Newbie question. I am looking forward to fishing the Guntersville tourny, do all the ones on Chick. blast off from Chester Frost?

They are either Chester Frost or Harrison Bay State Park. Most of the folks on the Harrison side that fish them will just boat over to the Chester Frost side. You can launch anywhere on the lake but you have to go out of the location of the blast off. It is usually not too bad but we have had a couple where there was such a fog that some got lost in it trying to boat to the blast off location. emoGeezer Jmax

There is a great boat ramp over at Waconda Bay. Lots of room. Also Anchor inn at Nickajack is great. Watch out for the boulders when you pick your partner up. :)

Churly I cant tell about that fish next to your name. Did you check and see if that was a state record drum. I think that lawyer in Rossville has the record now. I think you have him beat. emoPoke

One more thing while I am thinking about it and since I have 2 minutes to do something besides work. Do people that work 80 hours a week get any extra points?
