I JUST LOOKED AT A FISHING REPORT FROM WATTS BAR LAKE, WHERE THE GUY HAD REAL BAD TIME WITH BOATS RUNNING TO CLOSE.I THINK FISHERMAN SHOULD HAVE SOME RIGHTS , LIKE REASONABLE DISTANCE TO CAST AND ENJOY THEIR SPORT AS OTHERS DO ON OUR LAKES. JET SKI LAWS STATE THEY MUST STAY 100 FT. FROM EVERY THING, LIKE DOCKS , THE BANK, OR ANY TYPE OF FIXED OBJECT, ONE LAW EVEN STATES IF YOU PUT UP A RED FLAG WHILE FISHING, THEY MUST STAY 100 FT. FROM YOUR BOAT. I TALKED TO MANY FISHERMAN THAT ARE EVEN RUN OVER BY OTHER BASS BOATS, MAYBE WE NEED A LAW like if FISHING ROD IS IN USE WE GET 100 FT OF PROTECTION SPACE. HUGE BOATS PARK IN MARINAS PROTECTED BY NO WAKE ZONES , THEN CAN LEAVE THAT AREA AND WASH SMALLER BOATS UP ON THE BANK WITH THEIR WAKE. ITS EVERYONES LAKE TO USE AND WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO ENJOY OUR SPORT AS WELL. THIS WOULD BE A GOOD TOPIC OF DISCUSSION AT A TWRA PUBLIC MEETING. I GET TO FISH ANYTIME I CHOOSE, BUT IF I COULD ONLY FISH ON WEEKENDS I PROBABLY WOULD BE LIKE THIS GUY ,SELLING MY BOAT TO. ANY IDEAS. MAYBE SOMEONE AS THE ANSWER. LAWS MIGHT HELP ,BUT THEY ONLY WORK WHEN ENFORCED.
