I WENT YESTERDAY EVENING AND DONE SOME SCOUTING AROUND FOR A WHILE BEFORE GETTING IN THE STAND. I FOUND A LOT OF RUBS AND FRESH SCRAPES, SOME WERE REALLY NICE AND OTHERS BEING AVERAGE. SO I FINALLY SETTLED INTO THE STAND AROUND 2:30 I SAT THERE AND WAITED FOR NIGHT FALL SINCE IT WAS SO WARM. AROUND 5:00 OR SO I STARTED SEEING SOME DOES SHOWING UP TO FEED. THERE WERE 6 IN ONE GROUP AND 3 IN ANOTHER, CLOSER TO DARK I HAD 2 SMALL BUCKS COME IN TO CHECK THE DOES OUT ONE A 4 POINT AND THE OTHER A SMALL RACK REALLY COULD NOT TELL EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS. AND AT DARK I HAD A REAL NICE 10 POINTER COME IN AND START CHASING ONE PARTICULAR DOE AROUND ON UP AFTER DARK.NEVER HAD A SHOT SO I JUST SET THERE AND LISTEN TO THE WONDERFUL SOUND OF A NICE BUCK IN LOVE. SO NOT TO BAD OF A EVENING,I CAN NOT GO BACK UNTILL FRIDAY EVENING DUE TO WORK JUST MAYBE HE WILL STILL BE IN LOVE WITH HER OR ANOTHER. emoHeart

I DONT THINK YOU DO MOST OF THEM WORK AT KOMATSU, EXCEPT FOR MY COUSIN AND MYSELF. THERE ARE 12 OF US TOTAL. ON 1300+ acres.

I'm hunting a bit north and west of you but still on the plateau. I sure hope the rut is swinging up my way. All I have seen so far this year is a few small bucks pushing does around. Good luck Friday!
