Seen one boat haulin butt up the river straight onto a long point. We heard the mess. Up went the main motor, down went the trolling motor and they carried on. Dude seemed a bit upset.
Dewayne and Jamie (i think) won with just shy of 20# and had big bass of 6.33# (or very close).
Second was Mark Lance and partner with 18# and change. Maybe he won enough to pay the deductable on the lower unit.
Third was TonyC and Steve Childers with 16# and change.
Fourth was Louie B and Bill Payne with about 15#.
i know that all the ga boys got back safe and didnt leave no lower units they was 5 in the catch and all didnt hit anything .....i know of two in the cba from ga didnt hit anything.....your think if u didnt know the lake when its low u take it easy and be a little safer ???
... yea, I saw two run aground at the hazard are in between Harrison Bay and Harrison Island. You could see the mud bottom sticking up high and dry! One Dude never slowed down until bawahwahwah, then he did! Both of the two guys I saw were lucky not to have caught one of the stumps or rocks.
