You can find a "real" value for any paticular time of year by looking at whats selling on gunbroker.com. The scope is a different issue. Swaravski and Leupold are the only brands that really hold resale value Terry. Its not right, I dont agree, but its the way it is. Find out what a new one costs by looking on-line. Sitting on top of a gun, your going to loose at least 60% of the value. If you really want to sell, pull it off, and run it on ebay, then sell the gun. I did the same thing on a nice rig last year. I sold the combo for 20% more seperated than combined. Crazy....
