I love to put in at sale creek, but 2 of the 3 sides of the dock that you tie up to has no rubber and bare steel exposed. A lot of folks have high dollar boats that don't want to be damaged and I don't want to tear mine up either. I wonder if the owner is planning to fix or do we need to spend our money somewhere else????

Tom Bolton is the owner of that and Possum Creek. I can get his number from my boss Monday and give him a ring.

Not sure about my English here, but my boat is no high dollar boat. Hope the owner fixes this as it is a very good ramp to put into. Just be warned of the dock conditions if you go there....see you on the water....Jim

I know this one is a old thread. But want to know if if anyone has any tips for Sale Creek ramp in low water. Which side to stay on?
Or just avoid in the winter all together?
Thanks

if you put in at Sale Creek make sure you stay on the right side away from the dock. ramp is washed out on the end next to the dock and you will hang an axle.

Thanks for the info Cisco. I really like this ramp in the summer and also Possum Creek. But I have heard many say do not use either in the winter. Fishing had been good up there and I don't like to get my feet wet at Holly.
If I stay on the bridge side at Sale Creek can I use this on all year long?
