I was wondering if the Sale Creek boat ramp is #1...a safe place to launch/park the trailer...#2... will have plenty of water to launch in mid Oct? thanks in advance.....

The ramp at Browns bridge is monitored just like Opossum creek ramp and they charge a fee to launch there so everything should be safe , I think the ramp is ok when the water is at winter pool

Browns Bridge is my home ramp and have never had any problems. there is a $5 day fee or $40 yearly fee to use the ramp. BUT during winter pool, you need to stay on the right side facing the water or you will fall off the end and hang your trailer. I've seen a bunch of guys do it. Seen one guy rip the whole axle out from under his trailer.

I've used that ramp many times in the past during the winter, BUT be careful how far you back up. There's always been enough room to launch my 18.5 foot bass boast, but never very much extra.

i have a yearly pass and use it both summer and winter during duck season never had any problems and water is good in winter just stay to the right like everyone else said
