Sale creek

I haven't fished there in a while but I know that it's a great area. There is a really big spring a ways back into the creek that puts out lots of water. I would expect that it's a great place to fish at certain times of the year.

I lost a 4+ smallmouth at that spring about this time of year 2 years ago,
I haven't been in there since prespawn time.Just wondering if it was hot
or not.

The water temp this AM in Wolftever creek was 83-84 degrees. I would expect that the water temp in Sale creek would be similar but maybe not quite so warm. When you fish Sale creek do you like to fish the points, flats, or have you ever fished the main lake humps or the main lake point where the creek meets the river? Sale creek looks like a neat area but I've only fished it a few times.

Yes ,yes , yes, and yes. I like to run the right hand bank, past the bridge late in the afternoon specially if the wind has been blowin on it all day! That bank is just loaded with spotted bass! throw a unweighted texas rigged sinko on to any piece
of wood you can find and hold on!too much fun!
