The state of south carolina has closed all boat ramps. My father called me this morning and went by a couple of ramps and they police officers parked in front of the ramps.

They are strictly enforcing it. I'm afraid we won't be too far behind them. Luckily we are so close to three states, we will have some other options if they do it. But i think it is a matter of time.

They're trying to protect us from ourselves . I have mixed emotions on one hand I want to be sate and the other hand I want to fish .

Wouldn’t surprise me to see it here. I’m torn. No one wants to lose a spring fishing season and there’s not a better place to isolate that on the water. Problem is, HBSP AND WT ramps were the busiest places I saw all weekend that wasn’t a grocery or home improvement store

That’s where we need our police officers at this time, guarding boat ramps. I think their time would be better spent doing other things, even more so now that some police departments are depleted due to officers getting sick. I think that’s just poor judgement by the heads of the police department (unless it’s the town of Mayberry lol) I work with the police on a weekly basis and I’m pretty sure the officers I work with would agree.
