I'm getting lazy in my old age. I just don't post regular CFF Fishing Reports like I should. Since it's not a specific trip, I'm putting this in "the "Discussion" Forum, but here's a general report. Our "light tackle" catfish bite has slowed, but we never get skunked. Lately 10 or 15 quality cats in a 4 hour trip has been typical. If we size up and target bigger fish, most trips have produced at least one 20 or 30 lb. fish, with an occasional 40 lb. plus. Standard bait... chicken breast on the light tackle bite and cut bait (skipjack) when targeting bigger fish. But skipjack has been HARD to come by. Like many bass anglers, Capt. Hayes has had to work for his fish lately but again, skunks are pretty much non-existent. We all hope things are going to improve and look forward to a little rain from Nate (as long as it doesn't get too wild & wooly). If you want to see more regular reports, we'd love it if you would <a href=https://www.facebook.com/sceniccityfishing/>"Like" our Facebook Page</a>. We're a little more diligent about posting there. Here's a few client pictures from recent weeks to peruse.
