Scheduling conflict

Hate to bring this up guys, but it needs consideration. Sportsmans Warehouse is having their Spring TX on May 16th at Chester Frost. Thats a 100 boat tx, that a lot of CFFrs normally fish. They have not announced this tx yet, but their date is in stone with the Hamilton County Parks. The CBA is the weekend before. What yall think?

I think we need to re-schedule to either May 2 which would conflict with Jerry's BFL or the 23rd. Al

The 23rd is Memorial Day weekend. Lots of people will probably be out of town.

Thought: We could have a shorter TX that ends before things get wild if we have to go with that weekend. Usually its not bad ubtil after 12:00. Grass hopper wont be as crazy as down river either-just a thought!

Since I know you homers have been holding your breath waiting for my divine intervention into this matter, I'll spew so ya'll can breathe again.

I say we leave it. If we start moving dates, we'll have everyone wanting other dates moved to suit their schedules. Secondly, launching from Grasshopper is far enough upriver that we shouldn't run into issues unless we have boats running south.

Also, we might loose a boat or two, but there will be others with that date free and without the ability to pay a $200 entry for the SW tx.

I was thinking the same thing Rob. There will be other dates that will not be perfect for everyone and once changed it will effect someone else and on and on.
