Im looking for a little advice,,
Im going to buy a mid prices scope and im wondering on the higher quality scopes is there much of a differance between 40MM front objective's and 50mm front's??? Im looking at Zeiss Conquest "leaning to this one",,, Bushnell Elite 4200,, and Leupold VXIII,,,to give you a idea of the scopes im talking about...Im looking for low light hunting "little extra time on the stand" but with the higher end scopes makers im trying to decide if the 50mm is worth the extra cost over the 40MM...

Thanks guys...

On good glass, the light transmission difference is negligable between 40-50 mm PJ, field of view is where your getting your advantage. Research the light transmission number on the models your interested in, that will tell you which one to go with. ;)

+2 Check out the meopta's they are awesome scopes as well. I have all the other brands you listed and the meopta is my favorite.
