what do i do i cant get enough elevation on the x hairs to get to bulls eye hitting 12" low i have turned the elevation screw as far as it will go now what thanks for the help

yes i am going the the right way could you explain why u shim the back mount and how to do that i have never had that trouble eather but i have it nowthe elevation screw is as far as it will go and it still hitting 12 - 14" low thanks
You are correct Bramsey, but im willing to bet the elevations turret is turned all the way the wrong direction. Its a very common mistake and since Procraft doesn't get why raising the rear of the scope would drastically raise his point of aim, hes got it going the wrong way.
guys i have been shooting for over 30 years i have never had a scope mounted or sighted in by any one but me when i first started shooting this gun it was not even on the paper i turned it up and up and up then got on paper then went up more and more then ran out of up and still cant get enough up out of it thanks for the help i will try the shim i will let u know how it works tomorrow i will shim it to night thanks again
Is it patterning any at all? I had a scope on a muzzleloader that would shoot a couple of bullets good then go all over the place. Finally I saw that the crosshairs were broke.
yes it is shooting 1/2 " at 30 yards center line just cant get it high enough and i have never had to shim a scope but this one is on an airgun when i had this scope onmy 17 hmr it held 1/4" groups at 100 yards if their was no wind i cant find any thing wrong with the scope just dont add up for me

Air gun? Well heck far just bend the end of the barrel up a lil bit! lol JK. I've never shimmed on either. Let us know how you do it and how it's works out.
problem solved drooper mount solved all trouble she is holding 1" 5 shot groups at 42 yards it will be my squirrel gun for this year i will save my 22cal for something else but i do thank you guys for all the info the drooper mount has over 17" of droop compensation built in easy fix for &15.00
