Everybody is saying to swim big worms in 4-7 foot of water in the grass near the river channel. Use about a 1/8 oz. weight. June Bug, Red Bug, Watermelon, Green Pumkin should all work. I talked to Billy Ledbetter ( local guru ) at Waterfront the other day, he said hes catching some on a jig in about 10 foot on the ledge.

This is what everbody is saying. It hasnt worked for me. The few decent fish I have caught when I have gone in the last 2 weeks were on Spinnerbaits when they are busting shad, Super Spook in about 3 foot next to the channel, and flippin a jig into visible cover up river in creeks. And I caught some on a big worm, but on the river ledge in about 10 foot at the grass line. Good luck to you.

Flip a big 1oz jig on inside weed lines. Flip isolated clumps of grass. River ledges are great if they are pulling current. If not, go to the inside weed lines. You may have to pitch in several areas to find some fish, but once you do, it will be on. Swimming a big worm is good also, but there again, you really need current. South Sauty weedlines are great. Again, pitch to the inside weedlines.
