Where would you take your boat to have some scratches removed for it? I got a 2003 triton boat that has a couple scratches emoBangand I thought about getting them removed.

Have you though about fixing them yourself?

2 things you can try and both will save you money. emoApplause

First one - buffing the scratches out with an electric buffer, other pros here can give you more detail. (rent one if neccessary - cheaper than paying a shop to do it)

Second one comes from one of the pro fishermen, think it was Jimmy Houston - Get some wax crayons and find the color that matches your boat color and color in the scratches with the crayon. Use soft cloth to wipe off excess from edge of scratches. This blends the scratch in and very hard to see and should last a long time.

Grind them out with 40 grit sanpaper and find some paint at Lowes that's close and put it on with a roller-maybe wax it when you're done!

Bassfever326 is really good at wat he does as in restoring old cars and bodywork and painting he has built several award winning cars for shows. emoThumbsup
