Better late than never I guess. After going to watts bar to catch some fresh skipjack me and Floyd decided we would go try a new spot out for a late night session. We got out there around 11:00 pm that night and had just got a couple poles out when one of mine goes down. I had a little battle with a decent 30 pound blue. About 30 minutes later one of Floyds poles goes down hard and stays there for a long time. He had to leave it in the rod holder he could not get it out the fish was pulling so hard. It took him around 20 minutes to get it to the surface where we could see it. I was going to get it inn the net but I took my big net out since we went skipjack fishing earlier emoBang. So after a minute or two the fish decides he wants to go back down for more fun. Around a hour and a half later Floyd has the fish wore out enough that I could grab it and get it in the boat. The fish weighed 71 pounds we took some pictures and sent him on his way for another day.
