Just curious as to who runs this in their boat and what you think of it. I have always run stabil in my gas and bought some seafoam to try. How often do you add it to gas, every tank, every other? Just wondering. THanks

I put one can in each time I fill up if I'm putting in more than 12-15 gallons. I think it adds a measure of safety now that most gas has ethanol in it. If you let your boat sit with ethanol in the gas you get phase separation. Seafoam reverses/prevents this separation. It is more widely known for its de-carbon properties. I don't really think carbon is an issue with good gas.

Well, I was fortunate enough to do the Sales & Marketing VP of SeaFoam's Mortgage in Minneapolis last year. He introduced me to the man who invented it and the owner. GREAT people!!! I have used it for years and strongly recommend it. From old put up outboards that have been sitting around and you can get running, but can't get cleaned out and running smootly, just sit there and burn it out. Smokes like crazy, but that stuff works! I always put a little in my car, lawn mower, jetski's and boat gas. It is as Beetlespin said, a little bit of insurance knowing you are getting out all the "junk". It basically gets out all water and condensation. It has no chemical additives or harmful ingredients, it's made from oil, same thing gas is made from, is what I was told. Either way, I've winterized a motor or five for years. Works really well for me. I guess if people in the midwest and Canada use it that says a lot. Really tough conditions....

I use it in my car every 4-5 tanks of gas.Ive got a header & exhaust on my car which burnt out my lower bank O2 sensor & now i have a check engine light.(nothing serious just runs rich) but when i put seafoam in it, it will actually make me check engine light go off for a little while. It really only like putting a bandaid on a bullet wound but it does cover it up.Good stuff.

I use it my Triton and my duck boat and all of our cars at home. I have never had any trouble with it so it's worth every penny.
