After battling several fluoros on my spinning rod, I ordered some Invisx from BassPro. It sails through the guides, is as tough as any mono in a class or two heavier, and the fish can't see it. Best of all, no curling or twisting...and I spooled it at the Wolftever ramp and immediately fished it. Exactly what I was looking for. "Thank You" to whomever recommended it...Beetlespin maybe

Its the best flouro out there. I have tried everything but triplefish, gamma, and vicious and Invisx is far and away the best I have tried. Glad you like it.

When the P-Line on my flipping and spinnerbait rods is ready to be replaced, I might just have to respool with the Invisx. I'm sold on its castability.

Anybody in chattanooga sell the invisx? Sure would like to try it. I have been using Vanish, but it is starting to break on me as it gets old.

I use an improved clinch knot because its what I have always tied but the palomar knot is a better knot for flouro. You have to wet the line when you tie it.

The Palomar works best on fluoro. A good while back, we had a discussion about line breakage at the knot and I concluded that the Palomar was not the right knot. However, it wasn't the knot that was failing...it was the line, Berkley Vanish.

RE: Seaguar Invision

I must have been tying the Uni improperly. Whenever I hung a shaky-head, a quick yank is all that was needed to snap the line. After reverting back to the Palomar, I sliced the side of my pinkie finger in an attempt to break off a snag.
