With the Tide's lost what do you all think the chances of a SEC school playing for national championship? I'm still holding hope for the dawgs but if they win out and beat Alabama I dont think it will put them there and the same ifAlabama wins out. I believe Notre Dame is over rated and I believe there are 4 SECteams thatwould beat them easily. We can only hope for a Oregon or KSU lost.

This year the national championship will have two undefeated teams. Probably K-State and Oregon. Don't be so harsh on Notre Dame they beat Stanford, although with a little controversy and Stanford clipped Oregon State yesterday. They haven't played well but are still winning.

If the sports writters have anything to do with it the SEC wont be in the National Championship game. They are tired of the SEC winning it and the only way to be sure it doesn't happen for the 7th consecutive year is to make sure there isnt a SEC team there. I believe that AL, GA or FL would beat the Ducks or K State. The only chance the SEC has is if ND and one of the other teams get beat. ND is over rated. I would love to see them get a chance to play the Tide but I don't think that will happen. The NC run had to end sometime. It may be over. :(

Those Ducks look really good as well as K State. The fish eaters, no way! LSU, Bama, Ga. SC or Fl. all could beat them I think. I know that the media would love to put the Golden Domers in the NC game, but i just don't see that happening. Also a 12 and 1 SEC team still can get there. The SEC is by far and above the toughest conference in the country and after beating each other up week after week teams are going to wear down. All the other conferences have about two really hard games a year if that. Now with that said, would you believe that I heard just this last week writers were calling for the SEC to go to a 10 game conference schedule!? RTR!

Unfortunately we have to be USC fans. They play both Notre Dame and Oregon. K State plays Texas the last Saturday of the regular season. If 2 of the 3 unbeaten loses, the SEC Champ will play for the National Championship.

If you think the rest of the country hates the SECnow. If that scenario plays out.........

People wanted to see a good National Championship. If SEC happens to not play in the NC. It should be a good game. I know if a high up SEC team played Notre Dame. Most likely it would be a blow out. thats my opinion.

Oh no spoon. Oh no. You tater diggin Nick Saban lost. Whats the big excuse?

Not even Bama can win them all. BUT if Bama is lucky enough to get back in the race. I like our chances with them Ducks! A&M is as close to the ducks as you will get with out being a Duck. Give Saban six weeks to prepare and I like our chance and me thinks you do to.

IF USC wins out, the SEC championship will be for a spot in the NC game. IF USC wins out and IF Texas beats K-state the Gators could hold the other spot. Those are some big ifs but stranger things have happened.

FSU will take care of that.

Last year we got lucky. All the teams ahead of Bama after the loss to LSU were in a really good position to go to the NC game. All those teams got beat by lesser oponents and we stepped back in. After looking at the top 3's schedules I feel like the chances are slim to none. That was a hard pill to swallow losing a game this late in the season but we still have alot to play for. I just dont see the top 3 losing a game now unless its Notre Dame to USC but that wont affect the top two. Well done A&M.

I agree! If the Ducks and KS both lose and ND lose to USC I will bet the house ND and Bama in the NC game. The cards are falling in place!

I dont know. Thats assuming Bama wins out and they still would have to beat UGA for teh SEC title. I think the SEC champ would get a strong vote but I just dont see but maybe one of the top 3 getting beat and that might be Notre Dame and that wont be enough help for a one loss SEC team to pass the other 2 undefeateds. I feel we will have to watch a shootout NC game with absolutely no defense. It will come down to time of possession and who gets the last possession. If I had to pick on the two I would rather see Kstate knock off OR.

Maybe the Jr. and Sr. threw the game so they wouldn't have to go meet Obama for the third time?

I'd like to see Oregon and Bama I think Oregon would gash them pretty bad. They had trouble stopping A&M.
