That is the only thing I don't like about early Bow season!!

My Dad and I killed 3 in one trip last year while fishing above the powerhouse in Reliance. We never make that trip any more with out Snake boots.

Peck, I would just move. I hate them things.......Tell me again how many CopperMouthedWaterRattlers have you killed in your yard this year?

I know I was talking to you one day and you saw one in the yard...........That is tooooo many for me.

Yeah, but you would have to lie flat on the ground. Could you see Spur flat on the ground and trying to get up and shoot Anything.

It's right about here emoBigsmile

Now that right there could ruin your huntin' trip much less your day, emoMad
A 12 ga. works miracles on them. Of course it's against the law in some places
in TN to kill one, emoCrazy

Technically it's against the law to kill a snake anywhere in TN. Unless there is actually a hunting season declared on any creature (and listed in the Hunting Guide), it's illegal to kill it.

However, I know of no case where a game warden has ever issued anyone a citation for killing a snake, unless they had evidence it was done for commercial gain (selling hides, etc.).

Game wardens really do have common sense.
