Currently involved with these folks. Ill follow up all the way in this thread. So far we are good with ordering and customer service. Anyone feel free to share.

Several on BBC have used them. Don't recall seeing any negative feedback. Might do a search over there and ask those guys what their experience has been.

OK 5 hour dope change went well. No water detected. No other issues to report, thank God. Been having fun fishing not sweatin the boat.

Thanks for the followup, Bobby. Good to know the SEI option seems to be a good one. Hope it runs good for you a LONG time!

OK before the 20 hour mark Ive lost the gears. So far SEI has been great. Shipping it back tomorrow for rebuild or replacement. I have followed break in period to the letter so I dont know what couldve happened. I have to pay return shipping and they pay to send it to me. I will let yall know of any complications and time periods. Im having a rough time with staying on the water! 3rd unit and powerhead too so far this year.

That would be a "clutch dog". This could be caused by slow shifting or improper adjustment. It may also be toooo much power for the aftermarket unit or just a lemon unit. JMO... Did they repair yours or simply replace it?

Units back on and its getting old doing that! They sent another unit out not a rebuild. Once again we are off to the lakes! LG on Friday, Nick on Saturday.....Hopefully without any failures.
