I was thinking sewee creek just south of the watts bar dam would be a good place to fish from a kayak as it's protected. I'm looking for white bass and crappie. Does anyone have experience up in the creek? Probably put in off river road and head back the the TN river

Great. I'm thinking they should start running soon. They might be staging in the mouth now, I'm going to go out Friday afternoon and see.

Far too late for the white bass in Sewee creek, if you are thinking of fishing the spawn. I always fished for white bass there in late February. Don't know about the sand bass.

I guess the timing is different here. We used to catch them in late March and into April for the females.
