I did some looking around on the net , yes is legal in Tn, but most who have tried it either caught some or zero'd with them, and the ones who did do well with them said where good, for cut bait for cats, but the fish where to beat up for striper and bass, with all the water pressure forcing them in the back of the net .. you have to really haul but to use one .. a 25hp motor or more 5000 rpm emoEek .. 99% said just learn to use a cast net .
