I have been trying to learn the shakey head technique and was wondering which head do you guys think is actualy the best i have used the ones with the flat bottom that the worm screws on havnt had much luck on it maybe my presentation but have caught a few on the stand up jig head that you just rig like texas rigging any info is appreciated thanks

The only ones I use are the ones marketed at Shakey Head from Walmart with the cork screw on them. I typically use the 1/8 ounce and have some 1/4 ounce if I need to go deep. I like the 1/8 best but my patience can run thin. Hope that helps

I like 1/8th oz 99% of the time with a Zoom finesse worm in natural colors. Dixie Jig Works Shake-It for open water and a DJW Screw-It for skipping under docks. When the bite gets tough, reaching for the shakey rod can save the day.

I prefer the round Bagleys, 1/8 to 3/16ths for most fishing. If I am in a rocky area, I switch to the small football heads, same size. I also prefer the pigtails for putting on the worm, something the Bagleys don't have...

A little something else if the water is dirty, get some Gambler Goggky sticks and put a small rattle in them...
