Shellcrackers near Dayton 5-22-2006

Found a bed today that my wife and I fished, thru everyone of the 56 back. We caught 10 that were over 10", and 4 that were right at 11.5". What does the winner of the Crackerfest receive? Braging rights?

Thanks for the report Dixie Boy and welcome to CFF. Yep, the winner gets major bragging rights and a huge day of fun! Churly has stepped-up with some t-shirts to donate and I have some CFF stickers left. But wait, there's more! You also get a great day on the water, some big smiles at the weigh-in for the kids, and the opportunity to meet some fellow CFF members! So far we have 11 lucky members signed up who will someday be able to look back and say....yep I remember the first Crackerfest way back in 06. Thanks BBass, I paid a little extra for a galvanized trailer so it would last a while and it's been a really good one so far, I did have a couple side marker lights burn out after a couple months which were easily replaced.

JSV is the coordinator of CrackerFest 2006 and last I heard it will be held at Chester Frost Park 7:30AM-1:00PM Eastern.

i just got the last Popup spot at Camp Columbus!!! 3 days of camping and fishing. Ah, what a stress reliever!

I'll fly across the lake in the morning and see ya'll at the Cracker Fest.
