Shootin' Dove with Priscilla

My little girl had to cancel out a Labor Day trip to the beach due to massive rains down there. I was glad because that meant she could go dove hunting with me.

We were shooting as a "tag team" on a friend's farm in Marion County. We did a LOT of shooting... great fun! This isn't all we killed... just a representative sample for the photo.

Dove... it's what's for dinner... and that means life is good and gettin' better every day!

big fun. Never eaten dove before. How do you cook it?

bread and fry like chicken almost done......make a big pan of regular milk gravy ....add the near done doves and slow cook for about 30 minutes.....yuuuummm

Fried vs the crock pot is my dilemma. Grilled looks good too....Argh.
