at blast off we just put the trolling motor down fished at ramp... fished crank baits and spinner baits no takers moved to next spot fished the mouth of cut back off the river first fish ..get the net... big drum... fished for 30 mins more and mike bassmaster wilson puts the first bass in the well 15.5 in.... fished 9000 more cast no fish ..went back where we started... got a bite missed it... then bassmaster wilson put our next and last bass in the well 2.5 pounds... then i get in the zone ... 4 drum in a row ... fished right to the last 5 mins that was it congratulation to the winners

Drum can be frustrating. By the time you reel them in, get them in the boat and unhook them , they’ve wasted a lot of your bass fishing time and may even have ruined your plastic bait. I’ve had plenty of experience with that.
