Should have a second lower unit in today...

Had a couple guys asking again about where my boat stood. I called the company that makes the lower units and they had received my broken one Monday. They had not opened it as of Tuesday afternoon but said they would get to it that day or the following morning. Then they would send a replacement that should be here Friday. That company puts a three year warranty on their lower units so hopefully I just got a lemon. The issue is the unit has to be painted and labor to take it off and put on the new one is not covered. emoBang I am sure glad I am a member of this forum. I have had several of you come to my rescue and offer to take me fishing. emoAngel I am soooo addicted to the sport I think I would be having withdrawals right now if that had not happened. I am looking forward again to being on the water in my own boat. emoSmile Jmax

I would think you could handle putting the LU on at home Jim. You need to go get a merc. and ditch the ficht! Glad your river bound again!
