Will someone pls take a picture and post for me a Silver Buddy!?!?!?!!? Many of you speak about this solid, standard bait, and I have no idea what it is. I've been told by about 30 of you what it is and looks like, but am UNABLE TO FIND ONE ANYWHERE!!!! And I've asked the guys that work at the shops, Wallies, and am going to Sportsman's Warehouse later today to see if they can help me. Just have not seen one. Did pick up some DD22's... But gotta find me a silver buddy... Is it anywhere similar to the Lil George? Haven't used one of those since I was a kid... Thanks guys...

Probably because the knock offs are cheap enough to make and work just as well. One of my favorite baits.</p>

R&R had some a few weeks ago.

I've got a few Silver Buddy's (or at least some knockoffs) that I bought last winter. Got mine at R&R, you might want to start there first. Although I've found ebay is always a good option.

Stores sell them under the sonar brand also, the sonar has 4 or 5 extra holes that you can tie your line to, I guess this is for adjustments.

Now I really learned something on this thread. Not that many people responded but a LOT of people read it and after today, I can attest that A LOT OF YOU went and bought them or asked for them where they were bought out!!!! Dicks, no. Sportsman's Warehouse? No! And they couldn't understand why ALL SB there were gone and all the knock offs... but another shipment is coming next week. The three guys in behind the reels counter said that people have been walking in there in a stream asking for them. Then someone told me a few small Mom & Pop places to get them. THEY WERE sold out too. And Wally's in Kimball hasn't had any in over a month. We should build a big position on a stock or something and talk about it on here. That's pretty amazing how a small group like us can move some product.... Wow.

I picked up about 1/2 dozen of the spin-offs at Gander Mountain in Huntsville yesterday, and that cleaned them out.
