Too all you guys who deal with raw lead. I am trained and certified and I know what I am talking about here. No small children should ever have the slightest contact with lead dust either from being near to it, From you touching them after touching lead or being in the area where it is being melted or allowing then to play in the area where lead had been melted even from the past.
An adult can ingest enough lead dust to make you sick. and with treatment you can rid your body of the contaminates. but for a toddler their system is building new cells that absorb the lead . It deposits in their bone marrow and in their brain cells. Very hazardous ans potentially deadly. Even small amounts undetected cam effect the developing brain and severely restrict your child's learning abilities for the rest of their lives.
Please take heed to my words here and value the lives of our children above our love for fishing.
