If you still need some lead. I can hook you up. Let me know. I probably have about 400 lbs a friend gave me a while back.

No not sell i just want like 10 or so sinkers 3 or 4 oz for about 30 or 40 lbs of lead i dont have a mold for big sinkers and i get the lead free so i dont want to make anything off it

Sorry. David. I misunderstood you. I thought you was looking for lead. I'm in same boat as you. I have lots of lead and nothing to do with it. I would probably just give some away to the right person. Just to get rid of it..

What kind of sinkers you looking for. I got a buddy that just told me that he can make us a mold. I have a pot, so all we need is mold. I know he made a mold for some bullet weights a few years ago that worked really well

LOL This did read both ways >>> "hey if anybody wants to trade 3 or 4 oz sinkers for lead let me know.. "

I also took it you needed more lead and was trading sinkers for lead. I suppose a few think half full rather than the other... Now we know.

Too all you guys who deal with raw lead. I am trained and certified and I know what I am talking about here. No small children should ever have the slightest contact with lead dust either from being near to it, From you touching them after touching lead or being in the area where it is being melted or allowing then to play in the area where lead had been melted even from the past.
An adult can ingest enough lead dust to make you sick. and with treatment you can rid your body of the contaminates. but for a toddler their system is building new cells that absorb the lead . It deposits in their bone marrow and in their brain cells. Very hazardous ans potentially deadly. Even small amounts undetected cam effect the developing brain and severely restrict your child's learning abilities for the rest of their lives.
Please take heed to my words here and value the lives of our children above our love for fishing.

foodsaver - 5/29/2012 5:15 PM how old would you say the kids should be before they are around lead?

If you at any age is touching raw lead, just wash your hands to be safe.

Theguidelinesstate Six years old. Thatcoincideswhit mostchildrenstop putting objects as well as their fingers into their mouthsrandomly. They can get lead poisoning at 80 years old As long as a child is growing it can bepermanent. But as I mentioned it is less likely they will ingest the toxin as teens.
