I am glad to see that Skeet won the AOY in the Elite Series. He's honestly a very deserving man, and he's one of the few guys that my Dad enjoys watching. I just hope that he's able to pick up from this year, in the Classic, and start off next year with a bang. A Classic title would be great for Skeet!

When I interviewed Skeet Reese at the 2006 Classic he came off as a true jerk to all the reporters and media. I was not shocked, but surprised at the time. He spent more time poor mouthing other anglers than anything. I was nothing short of thrilled when he blanked on the last day while I was riding with Hackney.

Maybe he has taken a lesson from KVD and is working on his public relations and his image.

I fished with his brother, Jimmy, in a West Coast Bass tx back in the early 90's, and he was as nice a guy as you could ask for. Even way back then, most of the more experienced guys at the ramp told me 'wish his brother was more like him.' That was a long time before the yellow hair, boat shoes, etc.. . Maybe this is what he feels he has to do to establish his 'brand'(?) Don't know, but Jimmy Reese was a pretty big stick even then, and he was pretty cool..
