Skeeter175 & MB 20lb sack on river 10/5/2006

Of course it took all 40 fish we caught to weigh 20 lb, but what the heck. Makes a nice title, doesn't it. Seriously though, we caught 28 bass, 19 of which were spots, 5 Smallmouth, 4 Largemouth only one of which was less than 12". None were legal keepers either though. Everything on riprap. We caught a few on shiners even though I used up 2 dozen. Could not seem to stick'em. Caught fish on bandits, chatterbaits, beavers, shiners. Had a blast fishing with a great young man. He even knows what a non-boater is supposed to do after you get back to the ramp. Took 10 spots home for the table. Yum-Yum!!

Golly MB ... before long you are going to have to get that boat clear coated because all your fishing partners have rubbed it clean off!!!

Nice fishing report .. sounds like it was fun. And what a grand weather day!

Well, it looks as if the Madbomber is up to his old tricks.... I apologize skeeter that he made you clean up his boat.... He did me the same way the other day and it was real dirty.... I had to scrub hard to get it clean... I 'm sorry.
I am glad that you all caught lots of fish. He said you all had a good time... How come you all didn't post a picture????emoGeezer

I do clean boats, windows and bathrooms, but for a nominal fee. The only problem is there aint no one in the Southeast that could afford my fees. So ALL of you are out of luck. emoBigsmile

I had a great time with M.B. This feller is a HOOT. Would not have mattered if i caught 1 or 100 it was a great trip. Although the first half of the day i knew exactly how FA feels out there. I thought i was going to get skunked.

I was wondering how you guys did. Would have met you guys for a quick lunch if you had been on the Chick. I'm glad that you guys had a good time. MB is a great guy. I hope that he asks me on his boat again sometime, hint, hint.

Polo, You shouldnt have no problem getting to go with him . Make sure you dont use up all you strength on the fishing. Cause he wont help you clean the boat and he holds your gear for ransom till you do. emoWorthy
