Hey guys,

I finally got down to the Chickamauga dam with a sabiki rig and a #5 Mepps. I filled up a cooler with the skipjack. I stopped after my line was broken. I'm going to have to go get some more rigs. A few more times and I should have skipjack for the whole winter. Thanks for the advice, and that is pretty fun action. They are incredibly aggressive.

Catching those Tennessee tarpon is a blast in it's self. I generally use two jigs and most of the time have two fish on at once. They pull against each other therefore one will get off most times.
That is an excellent place to take your kids. It is a natural for kids since they cannot set still and want to cast and crank. My son has a blast up there and beats my pants off catching skip jack.

Do ya'll catch the tarpon from the bank or boat? Where at the dam do you catch them? I don't think I'll have time to go but in case I do I got some Sabiki rigs out here in MO.

Thanks

Cheez
