When the water gets around 60 degrees... We catch them this time of year at the Browns Ferry Nuc Plant here on Wheeler.  Looks for the boils and used jigs.

P.S. As a side note i fished below Nick last week around the dam and down around Burns isl looking for big fish" rigged big and lrg baits" and came up empty, didnt bother top make a post on nothing...emoBawl
