SKUNKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WELL GUYS I BELIEVE I HAVE A SKUNK THAT HAS TAKEN UP UNDER OUR HOME.THAT STINKS.I CAN HEAR IT NOW.DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY TRICKS FOR GETTING THESE THINGS OUT???THANKS

First find and cover or block any and all entrances or access critters might use to get under your house.

Then at nighttime open up the door to your crawlspace. Sprinkle a large, liberal amount of flour in front of the crawlspace so that you can easily see "tracks" as said critter goes in or out.

Skunks will normally leave the area at night to prowl and feed.

Check periodically and when you can see tracks which show that said critter has exited, block it up good. Once he comes back and finds out his normal ingress or egress points are blocked... it will abandon ship and go find another daytime hideout.

I used the same method to rid my crawlspace of a family of possums. Now if I could just keep the coons out of the catfood...emoLaugh</p>

Place a radio under the house and leave on 24 hrs. a day till they leave. It works.

Put a leash on them and lead them to a road close to your house, they will be splattered and stink for weeks.emoLaugh

THANKS TO ALL FOR THEIR INPUT.I AM LOOKING FOWARD TO PLAYING WITH THE SKUNKS TONIGHT.I DIDNT WANT TO GET OUT THE OLD 22 AND HURT ANYTHING JUST WANTED THEM OUT.IT SMELLS TERRIBLE.THANKS AGAIN RICHARD.

I feel your pain. I was working under the house I got about a month ago, and I knew I smelled skunk. Kept running pex plumbing and drilling, when i was lying on my back and really smelled skunk. Turned to the side and there is was, DEAD. Just skin and bones, but the smell is still there very much.
