Slim Pickin's below Chick dam 12/30/2006

I was in amongst the folks in the Riverpark area today. Only managed to squeak out a couple of smallies and a spot. One smallie and the spot were 14" each. The smallies hit a watermelon/pumpkin seed tube and the spot hit a spoon (my first bass on a spoon). emoParty I'll celebrate the small success instead of whining over the small catch. I did see a little more of the river and a few more good lookin' places to try yet another day.

Also got a close up view of the eagle that apparently frequents below the dam.

The fish must be getting ready for the New Year's eve party. There will be better days. Lot of good looking places down there to fish. Not enough time for 1 day's fishing.
