Since the wind was blowing pretty good, I decided to stop by a pond near my house. I threw a 1/2 oz. Cutthroat Spinnerbait (chart/white/blood spot) and landed 2 in less than 30 mins. The first cast I brought in a 1.5 lb LM and kept walking around the lake slinging the SB. I found a grass patch w/ some cover and BOOM, landed a 3lb. LM. The lake is fished pretty often, so I didn't expect a good fish. I've fished there a few times in the past, but never doing to well, with the best being a lil over 2 lbs. Heres a pic of the 3lb. w/ my wonderful Cutthroat SB in its jaw! emoToast

It's great to have a place to hide when the wind gets up like this, Congratulations on a nice pond fish!emoToast

LOL Man, you taking pictures of minnows doesn't count as "fish" that are caught! LOL JK That's a gorgeous bass, and look at the belly on her. I bet that she's just about ready to find a buddy and make some babies. :)

Man that brings back some great memories of simpler times. Not much better than catching a nice bass in a pond on a spinnerbait.
Thanks for sharing.
