Mike and I practiced some this week. Lotsa of pattern elimination.
Started the morning on a flat 5-8 fow, scattered weeks. Got our first on a walking topwater, Whopper plopper did not play. Tired of the wind, ran to spot two. No fish. Went to spot three, repeat of spot number two. Went to the dam, ended with two keepers on c rigs, both deep. Fifth stop Mike puts number four in the box with a jig and Yamamoto trailer. This was bank, dropping to 25 fow. That is all she wrote. Could not find the last keeper to fill our bag. Threw jigs, worms, c rig, chatterbait, shallow and deep crankbaits, topwater. This was our best classic day ever on Chick, so we have a chance tomorrow for the "W". The leaders will be hard to catch.
