Tourney # 1 is Saturday. Thought I would go and find some fish. Water looked like café au lait. Some spots were clear enough I could barely see the head of the trolling motor.
Temps started in low 50's and ended about 5 degrees warmer. Caught one keeper, boat in 10' or so, keeper was up on a flat of 6', off the main channel. Using a SB with a big blade. Got a second non keeper in 2 fow. Only knew I had it by watching the line swim the wrong way, very light bite. Got that one on a shakey head, Zoom finesse worm. The sun was out, and the weather made for a nice day. Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday.

Thanks for the report, Dean. I went out for about 3 hours Monday afternoon, tried a couple of points, a bluff and a flat and struck out. Tried lipless, blade, square bill and jig/pig.
