Cool start this morning, not as bad as two weeks ago. Ran north to a slough around the nuke plant. Fished to the back, top water, jigs, baby brush hog, crank. Got our first 14" non keeper going out on a shakey w/zoom finesse worm. Bite just felt heavy. Ran north to Soddy creek. Work an area, and Mike gets a keeper on a jig. Water is low to mid 50's. Run north to another area, wasted gas, no fish. Ended coming south, around Harrison bay, wind wasn't cooperating. Finished in Dallas bay. Got our last non keeper on second to last cast on a DT 10. The fish was not much bigger than the bait. Weighed in one keeper. 1.93. Cool and windy all day. Sun popped out and warmed things up about 11. Congrats to Billy and Steven, 1st place and BF. Thanks to the CFF committee for another well run event. See ya'll in April.
