Fished hard, not much result. Everything we caught was short, by about 1/4", minimum. Mike had a really good (short) smallmouth, I had a short largemouth. Those were the closest to the line. Caught a bunch of fish, no size. Had about six smallmouths, unusual, and no spots. Started down the lake, worked back north. Fished less than 15' most of the time, usually around 5-7. Threw a jig, brush hog, senko, crankbaits, spinnerbait, worm, could not get any legal takers. A day with bad ju-ju. Got a chance for redemption in a couple weeks. Thanks, again, to the committee for another good event.
