Started a cool morning with a short run. Began with jigs, crankbaits, and " ball & chain". Mike strikes first with our first keeper, and gets the next two after this. Working from 12 to 2 fow. Just before we move, I add a descent fish on a crankbait. Three in the box, before 9 AM. Make several moves, and catch more fish. Mike gets a cull with Carolina rig. Turned into a nice day on the water, though our fishing was slow compared to some of the other folks. Weighted in 7.42, probably somewhere around 10th place. Congrats to Leonard and Carl, 14+ for first, plus 8.03 for big largemouth. Was also great to see Chase, Levi and Emily fishing with their dads. Levi and Chase both placed.
