Started socializing prior to launch,then about a half hour in the truck while a storm blew through. Ended with a beautiful rainbow, became a double a little later. Ran downstream,fished along the grass edge. No love. Went north and fished some grass, wood and docks. Had a few bites, nothing but Senko theives. Rain back about 9 PM. Worked our way south , more wood, grass and some rock. Nothing. Ran to the park at dark. Rain, and no fish, not even a tap. Watched the lightening,and counted till the thunder. Got close enough, we trailered the boat and quit early. No fish were harmed this trip. Two bright spots,we fished enough to quailfy for the classic, and the double rainbow.
