Made short run, fished a flat with grass. First bass hit a buzz bait, comes off halfway to the boat. Keep fishing, get first keeper on a buzzbait, grass near a dock. Mike adds number two, a spot on a whopper plopper. Has another fish hit his plopper, and the line breaks on the reel. Hand lines in the plopper, fish got off. Mike adds number three to the live well. This one on a jig. Move to a community hole. Active fish, no keepers. Make another move, Mike puts number four in the well, on a Senko. Ran up past the nuke plan. Fished a slough, had a new experience. The snow cone, ice cream pontoon vendor came through, playing the music just like when I was a kid. We didn't order, but the folks at the dock did. Also had schooling white bass break within casting distance. Usually this happens about two cast lengths away from the boat. The fish were active all day, ended with 6+, second place. Had four keepers, lost a couple more. Tomorrow, Nick, let's see how we do.
