Put in at CFP around 10:30. Water was 47. Started with a jerkbait, worked that unsuccessfully for about an hour. Switched to a chartreuse Gitzit tube with an 1/8th head. Caught and lost a non-keeper near the boat. Kept throwing and felt a little weight. Sweep set, thinking I was on the bottom, and the line moves off. Boated a barely legal bass. Moved shallower, caught a couple of small bluegill on the same tube. Water got up to near 49. Windy all day. Marked all the fish 6-8', boat was in 10-11 fow. Beats sitting at home.

At least you got one bass -- nothin' for me today. No luck with a jerkbait for me either. I was out this afternoon and my water temperatures were 43-44. degrees. Maybe it's my location but my readings seem to be a little lower from what others are reporting ? emoScratch I wish it would warm up another 5-8 degrees. I'm ready to start crankin' some lipless. Thanks for the report.

Can we hold on till we get those few more degrees?? Find those transition areas to the warmer spots and you got the way to the big ones.

I think it will get better soon if this weather can figure out what it wants to do , but yeah you right, better than sitting at home.
