Mike and I ran upstream on a rainy start. Started with topwater, and worm covering the water column. Several other boats were is the same general area. Move up past Racoon mountain. Fished docks, laydowns , weed edges. Got our first keeper spot moving with the current, near rocks. Moved south again, Mike puts our largemouth in the boat, near structure. Both fish caught on a jig, very subtle bites. A little tick, and little weight. Moved back to starting area, fished down to Sullivan's. Worked the grass and docks. No more keepers. Caught fish most of the day, healthy, but short. Most were on the outside edge of the grass. Used Spook, Zoom finesse worms, Senko's, jigs, and crankbait. Jigs caught all the sack. Congrats to Ken and his partner on the "w". Thanks to the committee for another good tournament. Earl, hope your weigh in sheet dries out. See everyone in two weeks.
