Foggy, and more fog. Delayed takeoff, for obvious safety reasons. Mike and I headed downstream, couldn't see much, so we went to the bank to fish waiting for better visibility. Fishing shallow all day, 2-6 fow. Mike lands our first keeper on a chatterbait. Ran a little further, and started fishing wood and docks. Mike puts number two in the boat, chatterbait. Gets number three on a jig. Lost a couple also. I finally contribute, and we cull. Caught on a black/blue jig with Zoom trailer. Caught a few more, no upgrade. Ran to Hales Bar area, didn't boat anything. Back to where we started, no luck. Ran past Sullivans, fished shallow again, Mike gets one on a jerkbait, right next to the bank. Cull another. Ended with a little over 10#, and a suprising third place. We had no idea our sack was that good, we figured maybe top ten. Congrats to the winners, and a big thank you to the committee. Ended up a good day, warm, sun shining and a day on the water.
